Your documentary helped me really see how Marijuana is not just for recreational purposes, but for medical use. I think you did a good job on finding information about how it helps medically instead of people bashing this product. Why do people tend to care if they use it for medical reasons?
Well mainly when marijuana was made illegal back in the 1900's, it was categorized as a substance I drug, meaning that it had no medical benefits. So to answer your question, people tend to care because they believe it doesn't really help.
I didn't know that Marijuana could be this helpful in so many ways. I thought it was only used just to get high and waste your life away, but your documentary informed that it can be used to treat the symptoms of terrible diseases. Why do you think it should be made recreational?
Ah, well Mark, I don't necessarily believe it should be made legal for recreational use. Mainly because when used in high doses, it can be dangerous. If marijuana was made legal for recreational use, kids would find it very easy to obtain and may end up harming themselves by ingesting too much.
I didn't know that Marijuana can be used to help PTSD. I think the more research that is done on it will help get it the respect it needs for medicinal reasons. Do you think Veterans should use medicinal Marijuana to help PTSD?
I did not know Marijuana helped people with severe pain like that. If it helps so much then why is it illegal to use for non-medical reasons? It should be legal so that people do not have to go through other drugs that might not work.
I totally agree with you. As people, we often see something that we are told is bad, as it being bad, no matter how good it may be. I am just trying to inform people that this plant isn't as bad as it seems.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, is no light burden to live with, and like my grandfather always says, never pass up a good thing.

DeleteI like the way you included the news clip to show how what they were saying wasn't scientifically proven
ReplyDeleteI liked that too. I wanted to establish the difference in what we are told versus what is so
