Dear Editor,
First
off, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read my letter to
you. I am writing this to acknowledge why marijuana should be legal for medical
purposes.
The
idea of legal marijuana is an idea many people find hard to grasp. Growing up, my teachers and parents were quick
to demonize marijuana and every other drug; but with the help of the research I
have done, I have found out that marijuana very well may do more good than bad. For the most part, medical marijuana can act to
turn down the pain dial in people that are forced to endure horrific pain
diseases bring.
I
ask that you consider publicizing that marijuana it not entirely the ‘evil
drug’ so many people believe it is. Educate the public on the whole story on
Marijuana, not just the bad.
